CHINA EAST EDU (00667.HK)'s FY25 results confirmed the recovery thesis, with adjusted net profit growing by 50.9% YoY to RMB792 million, reaching the upper limit of its earnings forecast range and 3.6% below the broker's forecast of RMB822 million, Citi Research's report said. However, the shortfall is entirely non-operational, not margin. Revenue for the period was RMB4.616 billion, up 12.1%, surpassing the broker's forecast of 10% and management guidance. The GPM added by 3.9 ppts to 55.3%, indicating an improvement in core profitability. The actual dividend payout ratio was approximately 76%.
