In February, the selling prices of newly built commodity housing in first-tier cities in China sank by 2.2% YoY, with the decline expanding by 0.1 ppt compared to the previous month, data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed. Among them, the selling prices of newly built commodity housing in Shanghai hiked by 4.2%, while those in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen dropped by 2.3%, 5.1%, and 5.5%, respectively. In second and third-tier cities, the selling prices of newly built commodity housing sagged by 3.1% and 4.0% YoY, with the downswing deepening by 0.2 and 0.1 ppt, respectively.
