US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the official nomination of Kevin Warsh as the next Chair of the Federal Reserve.

The White House stated that Trump's nomination has been submitted to the US Senate. If confirmed by the Senate, Warsh will succeed Powell as Chair for a four-year term.
