China's RatingDog General Services Business Activity Index reached 56.7 in February, way beyond the market forecast of 52.3 and above the 50 threshold, indicating that the Chinese service sector was expanding at the fastest rate since May 2023. Likewise, the composite output index for February, coming in at 55.4, surpassed the 50 midpoint and January's reading of 51.6, showing that the total production and business volume of Chinese enterprises was also growing at the fastest rate since May 2023.
