CN May Auto Exports Grow 12.2% YoY, Imports Dive 25%: CAAM

In May 2025, the total value of China's automobile imports and exports grew by 8.5% MoM or 3.2% YoY to USD25.06 billion, according to data compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) from the China Customs.

Specifically, automobile imports amounted to USD4.38 billion, up 18.4% MoM but down 25% YoY, while exports leaped by 6.6% MoM or 12.2% YoY to USD20.67 billion.
