During the May Day holiday (May 1 to 5), major first-hand residential projects for sale in Guangzhou recorded 31,466 visits, with the average daily visits up 181.8% compared to the days before the holiday, and 2,093 homes were purchased, with the average daily purchases up 244.7% compared to the days before the holiday, according to data released by the Guangzhou Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau. During this period, visits to major first-hand residential projects increased by 30% YoY, while the number of purchases leaped by 73% YoY.
