Xia Baolong, Director of Hong Kong and Macao Work Office of CPC Central Committee and Director of the State Council's Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office, will visit Macao from 8 to 13 May, in order to get better understanding on the latest developments in Macao society and its economy, and on the work of the new-term government of the Macao SAR, as announced by the Government Information Bureau of Macau (GCS). The Chief Executive, Sam Hou Fai, thanked the central authorities, on behalf of the Macao SAR, for the longstanding care and support for Macao, and sent his warmest welcome to Xia for visiting Macao.
