With the advent of the AI+ era, the Hong Kong government is committed to making Hong Kong a global AI exchange hub, and AI will be developed into a core industry by deepening the integration of AI in various industries, focusing on the development of the 5 major areas of arithmetic, algorithms, data, capital and talent, Financial Secretary Paul Chan said recently.

In addition, Chan added that nurturing digital talents is essential in the AI era. Hong Kong is working closely with technology companies such as TENCENT (00700.HK), BABA-W (09988.HK), SENSETIME-W (00020.HK), LENOVO GROUP (00992.HK) and startups in the Hong Kong Science Park and the Cyberport to provide technical training and share entrepreneurial experiences, stimulating the interest of the next generation.
