MEITUAN-W Sweetens Delivery Riders with RMB50M Meal Subsidy

MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) recently announced a joint subsidy of RMB50 million to provide meals for delivery riders, in order to address the issue of expensive and inconvenient meals for deliverymen, Chinese media reported.

The ASP of the meal is RMB10, and the price of some discounted meals is as low as RMB6. Riders can pick up their meals at restaurants, and this will not trigger any violations of delivery rule.
